At Karambo Children Centre, our work is grounded in simplicity, love, and local action. We focus on what truly matters — making sure children in our rural Ugandan community have access to life’s basic essentials.
We’ve grouped our efforts into seven key areas of care, each designed to support the whole child — body, mind, and spirit.

Many children arrive at school on an empty stomach. We provide regular meals that nourish their bodies and help them focus in class.

We provide notebooks, pens, pencils, folders, chalk, and other school materials each term to hundreds of children.

No child should sleep on a cold floor… or muddy ground. We help provide basic bedding: mattresses, sheets, mosquito nets, and blankets.
Whenever we have enough funding, we also support temporary housing or classroom space.
